Today, I have a simple card to share but it was fun to make.
I love this particular die from Spellbinders and wanted to make a card using the Fleur De Lis.
I picked a simple tan/cream tone and tone theme for a masculine feel. I inked the edges and created the flower in the center using a punch, cut slits, rounded them with the end of a paint brush, turned one down and the other up, then put a pearl in the center. The lighter card stock has a nice shimmery look, hard to see with the pictures and the lighting was not the best to capture the look and feel of the card.
I would love to know what you think by adding a comment below.
Supplies:
CS - DCWV & unknown
DP - Paper Pizazz
Punch - All Night Media
Spellbinder - Fleur De Lis & Labels 1
Others - Pearls

Karen, this is a truly elegant card! I just bought this and haven't die-cut anything with it yet so you have inspired me! We were on vacation in mid-September going back and forth from Washington to Oregon and I love your state...hey, home of the Twilight Saga series huh? We had lunch at Timberline and it was beautiful, went to Kah Nee Ta to play golf and enjoy the casino, and shop at Washington Mall1 You live in a beautiful state! Hugs, Cami
